Metalock Engineering UK Ltd has just been awarded two major in-situ machining contracts for the newly formed BVT Surface Fleet Ltd which is a joint venture between VT Group and BAE Systems.
The contracts are for 3 vessels for Oman and 2 vessels for Trinidad and Tobago and follow on from Metalock’s very successful ongoing contract for the machining work aboard the 6 new Type 45 Destroyers.
