Metalock Development
Metalock provides a range of multi-skill services such as onsite machining, thermal spraying, advanced welding, pump refurbishment, alignment and casting repairs in order to repair and modify machinery and plant.

Casting Repairs
The metalock process is accepted as the best method of repairing all cracked, broken and damaged castings in iron, steel, and aluminium for a wide range of industries in a multitude of applications. The advantage of this process is that no heat stresses are introduced, no distortion occurs and in many instances, machining is unnecessary. It is invaluable in emergency situations, reduces downtime and avoids the replacement of expensive castings.
Onsite Machining
Precision onsite machining is one of our core activities. By applying the skills learned in precision machine shops and continuously developing equipment for the tasks required, we lead the way in the development of special purpose machines and techniques for the accurate machining of plant and equipment onsite.
Pressing and Forging
We are the preferred supplier for many OEM's in the pressing and forging industry. We provide specialist onsite machining services such as line boring, milling, facing and turning. We have developed a wide range of special purpose portable machine tools for machining large items of plant. High rates of metal removal and precise tolerance control are standard features.
Pump Refurbishment/Repair
Metalock Engineering UK Ltd specialises in the repair and refurbishment of industrial pumps, for a wide variety of purposes, including Land drainage and the Water industry. Our expert team can de-commission a pump on site, take it to our large well equipped workshop for overhaul and repair then re-commission back on site. As well as refurbishing pumps in our workshops we can carry out the work on site if required.
Laser & Optical Alignment
Our laser and optical alignment service is one of the many skills we offer to a host of industries including marine and power generation.
